Early access — apply for access
Sponsor billing belongs in your EHR.
Roster, eligibility, and employer invoicing in the same system as the chart — one platform, one login, one invoice.
Notive Sponsors is employer-paid membership billing — roster sync, eligibility, opt-in flows, COBRA-style continuity — built into the EHR your DPC clinic already uses. Free for the clinic. Modern for you.
How it works.
Three moving parts. Each one is the standard sponsor-billing lifecycle — folded into the EHR.
Employer signs a contract
Pricing, eligibility rules, payment arrangement (employer-paid, employee-paid, or split).
Roster syncs automatically
CSV upload, REST API, SFTP, or EDI 834. Eligibility stays current without anyone re-keying a spreadsheet.
Members enroll, clinic delivers care
Auto-enroll on employer-paid; opt-in on employee-paid or split. Stripe-backed employer invoicing. COBRA-style continuity when membership ends.
Two ways to run sponsor billing.
Standalone platforms built this category and run it well. We made a different bet — fold it into the EHR. Both are real choices. Here's the honest tradeoff.
Standalone platforms differ from one another; this reflects common patterns as of 2026-05-24, not any single vendor. Check it against your actual plan — and if what you have is serving your clinic well, that's a good reason to keep it.
How it's built.
The architecture behind the marketing bullet points.
HIPAA firewall
Sponsor admins see eligibility and billing only. Never PHI. Separation enforced at every layer of the stack — not a single permission flag that one bug can flip.
Stripe-backed billing lifecycle
Draft → review → issue → autopay. Invoice settings configurable per employer. Net-14 default. All standard B2B billing controls.
Four ingest modes
CSV upload, REST API, SFTP file drops, EDI 834. Covers everything from small-employer manual uploads to large-employer payroll-system integrations.
Pricing.
Two audiences. Two simple answers.

Common questions.
What is the Sponsor program?
Employers (sponsors) pay for their employees’ Direct Primary Care memberships at the employer’s chosen DPC clinic. Notive provides the billing rails: contracts, eligibility, opt-in flows, employer invoicing, and COBRA-style continuity.
Who pays?
Three payment arrangements per contract: employer-paid (employees auto-enroll), employee-paid (employees opt in and pay), and split (cost shared between employer and employee).
How does HIPAA work for sponsor admins?
Sponsor admins only ever see eligibility and billing data — never patient health information. The separation is enforced at multiple independent layers of the stack, so a code mistake produces a permission error, not a privacy incident.
